She did not disappoint the expectations of the many supporters who have followed her in these days. The Paralympic champion Bebe Vio won the first place in the women’s foil at the European Games of integrated fencing which ended this afternoon at the sports arena Ezio Triccoli. With a score of 15 – 9 in the final against Loredana Trigilia, the champion left her mark on this first edition of the European Games of Integrated Fencing.
At 9.30 Pm in Piazza Federico II the closing ceremony of the event that attracted a hundred athletes from all over Europe for the first tournament that saw competing together fencers with and without disabilities. During the ceremony the medals will be awarded to the best classified in the categories of foil, epee and sabre, both male and female, and foil under 18.
